TA KHANG MUONG KHUONG SHAN TEA

Lao Cai is well known for its Fanxipan peak – Indochina Roof but not so much publicly for its specialty tea products despite its popularity among Chinese green tea trader and producers because of Thanh Binh, Phong Hai - its two tea regions. Maybe, due to tea masters’ too little access to it or perhaps because it hasn’t reached the standards of characteristics that is found commonly in Shan Tea Products in Ha Giang, Son La.

However, once try Ta Thang – Muong Khuong Thi, you would be impressed by its uniqueness. Tea masters here are not highly skillful like the ones in other places, however, thanks to which, they are able to keep the pureness of tea intact. This brings the round-mouth feel, spring-water-like freshness, newly blossom aroma to the tea.

The Shan Tea here is rustic, simple and perhaps a little naive just like the first time falling in love.

For people who like strong tea, Ta Thang Muong Khuong Shan could also serve their taste perfectly, if brewed properly, it could bring out the strong bitterness, powerful sweet aftertaste.

All of this tea’s uniqueness is thanks to the simple but traditional skill sets of tea masters here. Luckily, some of their products are being traded in local market, or else, we could never get the chance to taste this.
